How do you learn a new technology quickly?
Start with the official docs or a short course for the basics, build something small right away, learn the rest as the project needs it, and ask experienced people when stuck. Give an example of doing this.
Explain it simply
In your first job you will almost certainly be asked to use something you never studied. The interviewer wants a method, not a promise.
A good method is: get the big picture in a day, build a small working thing in a few days, then learn deeper parts as you need them. Notes and asking questions speed this up. Proof matters, so give a real example with a timeline.
Example
Situation: Two weeks before her internship, Komal learned her team used React, which she had never touched.
Task: Become productive before joining.
Action: She spent two days on the official React tutorial, then built a small expense tracker with components, state and a form. She wrote down every concept she struggled with and searched each one. In the first week of the internship she asked her buddy to review her code.
Result: She shipped her first small UI fix in the second week of the internship.
What to say in the interview
"I get the basics from the official docs, build something small immediately, and learn deeper parts as I need them. For example, I learned React in two weeks by..."
Common mistakes
- Saying "I am a fast learner" with no method or example.
- Only watching videos without building anything.
- Claiming you learn everything in a day.
