Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Head Constable (Motor Mechanic):10+2 pass from a recognized Board or Institution.Certificate in Motor Mechanic from a recognized institution or Industrial Training Institute (ITI) with three years practical experience in the trade in a reputed workshop, OR Three years Diploma in Automobile Engineering.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection process includes multiple stages to ensure merit-based recruitment:
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Qualifying in nature
• Physical Standard Test (PST) – As per prescribed standards
• Verification of Original Documents (Documentation)
• Written Examination – As per prescribed syllabus
• Practical (Skill) Test – Trade-related practical assessment
• Detailed Medical Examination (DME) – As per CAPF medical guidelines
• Review Medical Examination (RME) – If required
• Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection process. Candidates must download admit cards from the official ITBP recruitment website.

• Matriculation (10th) Certificate or Birth Certificate for age proof
• 10+2 mark sheets and certificates
• Certificate in Motor Mechanic or Diploma in Automobile Engineering with relevant mark sheets
• Experience certificates for 3 years in motor mechanic trade (if applicable)
• Valid Category/Caste Certificate for fee exemption (SC/ST/EWS/OBC as applicable)
• Recent passport-size photographs and valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar/Voter ID/PAN)
