Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Deputy Registrar: Master's Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade. Experience: 9 years as Assistant Professor or 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar.
• Deputy Librarian: Master's Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science with at least 55% marks; Ph.D. Degree in Library Science / Information Science. Experience: 8 years as Assistant University Librarian / College Librarian.
• Assistant Librarian: Master's Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation; NET / SLET / SET or Ph.D.
• Assistant Registrar: Master's Degree with at least 55% of marks.
• Assistant Manager (Publication): Master's Degree in Social Sciences with at least 55% of the marks.
• System Analyst-cum-Programmer: First class in M.E. / M.Tech. / MCA / M.Sc.
• Health Officer: MBBS recognised by the Medical Council of India.
• Field Work Coordinator: Master's Degree in Social Work with at least 55% of marks.
• Counsellor: Master's in Social Work / Counselling / Applied Psychology.
• Section Officer: Bachelor's Degree in any stream.
• Section Officer (Security): Bachelor's Degree or Army service.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection process for TISS Non-Teaching Recruitment 2026 follows these stages:
• Online Application Submission: Candidates must submit their application online on or before 9 November 2026 through the official TISS website.
• Screening Committee Shortlisting: A Screening Committee will review all received applications against the prescribed eligibility criteria, qualifications, and experience requirements. Only candidates meeting the minimum eligibility will be shortlisted for the next stage.
• Written Test / Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test and/or interview as determined by the Institute. The exact format (written test only, interview only, or both) will be communicated to shortlisted candidates.
• Document Verification: Candidates who qualify the written test / interview must produce original documents for verification during the final stage of the selection process.
• Note: No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in any stage of the selection process.

• Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government Prescribed Format (if claiming reservation)
• Two recent passport-size photographs and Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card / Voter ID / PAN Card)

Pay Level 10 (Rs. 56,100 – Rs. 1,77,500) applies to most other posts.
