Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • The single JRF position is open in an ISRO-funded research project titled "Development of in situ engineered additive manufacturing technique for fabricating Inconel 718 parts."
  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
  • Essential Qualification: M.Tech / M.E. or equivalent degree, OR B.Tech / B.E. or equivalent degree with a valid GATE Score.
  • Discipline: Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or related areas.
  • Experience: Preferably 2 years of relevant experience in Engineering or Technology from a recognized organization.
  • Age Limit: 35 years (no age relaxation or cut-off date stated in the notification).
  • Applicants must be Indian nationals meeting the essential qualification.
  • Desirable Skills:
  • Expertise in signal processing and image/video analysis
  • Understanding of Additive Manufacturing and Laser-based processes
  • Expertise in Python and MATLAB
  • Experience or familiarity with Manufacturing Processes, Superalloys, and Digital Control

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Selection will be made by a selection committee, whose decision will be final.
  • If the number of shortlisted candidates called for the interview is large, the committee may restrict candidates to a reasonable limit after considering qualifications and experience over and above the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
  • The selected candidate will have to join duty immediately on receipt of the offer.
  • The fellowship may be terminated with a 30-day notice before completion of the tenure if performance is not deemed satisfactory.
  • No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the interview.

  • Fill in the attached application form from the official advertisement and take a hard copy to the walk-in interview.
  • Email the duly completed application form along with your resume to the Principal Investigator so that it reaches by 11:59 PM on 11 November 2026.
  • To request an online interview mode, confirm your participation by email to the Principal Investigator by 11:59 PM on 10 November 2026.
  • Appear for the walk-in interview on 12 November 2026 at 11:00 AM in ED2 Room-405A.
  • The PI is not responsible for postal/courier delays or any other reason for non-receipt of documents at the specified time. Non-receipt will result in disqualification/rejection of the application.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Duly Filled Application Form (Hard Copy) as Per the Attached Format
  • Resume / Curriculum Vitae (also to be emailed to the Principal Investigator by 11:59 PM on 11 November 2026)
  • Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth
  • All Degree Certificates and Consolidated Mark Sheets (M.Tech/M.E or B.Tech/B.E)
  • Valid GATE Score Card (for candidates with only a Bachelor's Degree)
  • Experience Certificates on Official Letterhead, if applicable
  • Two Recent Passport-Size Photographs and Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)
  • Important: No TA/DA will be paid to candidates attending the interview.
