- Are you a leader or a follower?
Say you can be both depending on the situation, and give a short example of each. Good team members lead when they know the area well and follow well when someone else is better placed.

BeginnerQuick answer1 min read - Tell me about a time you took initiative without being asked.
Describe a problem you noticed that was not your job to fix, what you did on your own, and the result. Show that you thought about impact and checked with the right person where needed.
BeginnerQuick answer1 min read - What do you think makes a good leader?
A good leader sets a clear direction, listens, supports the team, takes responsibility when things go wrong and shares credit when they go right. Give an example of someone you have seen do this.
BeginnerQuick answer1 min read - How do you decide who should do which task in a team?
Understand the tasks and each person's strengths and availability, match them sensibly, give stretch tasks with support where useful, explain the expected result and deadline clearly, and follow up without micromanaging.

Find out why interest dropped, reconnect people to the purpose, break the work into small visible wins, match tasks to what people enjoy and recognise effort openly.
