Age Limit & Relaxation

• For direct recruits, the age limit is preferably below 57 years.

• Age relaxation applies to SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD candidates as per Government of India rules and amendments issued from time to time.

Deputation Qualification & Grade

• Candidates must hold the analogous post or have eight years' experience at Pay Level-12.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection process under the Cadre Recruitment Rules of the University – 2022 consists of:
• Application Scrutiny & Shortlisting: The Screening Committee will evaluate applications based on higher qualifications and experience. The University reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates called for interview to a reasonable limit. Mere fulfilment of the minimum required qualifications and experience does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.
• Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. Appointments are governed by the National Pension System (NPS) as applicable to Central Autonomous Bodies for joiners on or after 01 January 2004.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the interview. The appointment is on a permanent cadre basis, subject to satisfactory verification of credentials. Appointments on deputation shall be governed by the terms and conditions prescribed by the Government of India / Central Autonomous Bodies.
