Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Qualifications must be strictly in accordance with the prevailing guidelines of AICTE/UGC and HBTU Recruitment Rules as detailed in HBTU Advt No. 1460/HBTU/Estt/01/2026.
  • Faculty Posts (Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor): Typically require Ph.D. with a substantial track record of research and publications as per AICTE/UGC norms for the specific discipline.
  • Assistant Workshop Superintendent: Qualification as prescribed in the detailed notification.
  • Age Limit: As per University and Uttar Pradesh State Government norms.
  • Foreign Degrees: Candidates with a Ph.D. from a foreign university must possess an Equivalence Certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Screening and shortlisting of online applications based on the prescribed criteria.
  • Personal Interview for shortlisted candidates.
  • Final selection based on Assessment Methodology (Screening and Selection Criteria).
  • Note: Candidates already in government/university employment must apply through the Proper Channel. Reservation will be applied as per Uttar Pradesh Government norms (Vertical and Horizontal).

  • All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (Relevant Qualifications)

  • Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)
  • Proofs of qualifications, publications, experience, projects, research guidance
