Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Educational Qualification: Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the concerned, relevant, or allied subject from an Indian university, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
• For Computer Science / Data Science & Analytics (Sl. No. 12): Candidates with Master of Technology (M.Tech) shall also be considered as per AICTE norms, in addition to candidates with Master of Science.
• Eligibility Test Requirement: Candidates must satisfy at least one of the following: Clear the National Eligibility Test (NET) in the relevant discipline conducted by UGC or CSIR; OR Clear State Level Eligibility Test (SLET/SET); OR Hold a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations.
• Upper Age Limit: 50 years as on 01 January 2026.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection process for SGOU Assistant Professor contract recruitment involves the following stages:
