1. Educational Qualification

  • Degree: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree with Physics subject from any recognized university as on 01/08/2025.
  • Minimum Marks: General Category: Minimum 50% marks in B.Sc with Physics. SC/ST Category: Minimum 45% marks in B.Sc with Physics.
  • Physics subject is mandatory in the B.Sc degree.
  • No specific work experience is required (Freshers can apply).

2. Age Limit (As on 01/08/2025)

  • Minimum Age: 21 Years.
  • Maximum Age: Male (General): 37 Years. Female (General): 40 Years. BC/EBC (Male & Female): 40 Years. SC/ST (Male & Female): 42 Years.
  • Age Relaxation: Bihar Govt Employees: 5 years relaxation for those seeking promotion through competitive exams (min 3 years service). Ex-Servicemen: 3 years + service period (max age 57 years).
