Eligibility

  • Technician 'B': Matriculation/SSLC + 2-year ITI (NCVT) or NAC/NTC in the trade, plus 2 years' post-qualification experience in an R&D institute or reputed industry.
  • Technical Assistant: First-class 3-year full-time diploma in the discipline (for Physics/Chemistry see the notice), plus 2 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Junior Personal Assistant: 12th pass; shorthand dictation 10 minutes at 80 wpm; transcription on computer (50 min English / 65 min Hindi).
  • AO / Accounts Officer / P&S Officer: Graduate with 10 years', PG with 5 years', or relevant MBA with 2 years' supervisory experience.

Age Limit

  • Technician 'B': 18–27 years; Technical Assistant: 18–30 years.
  • JPA: up to 25 years; Officer posts: up to 35 years.
  • Age as on 30.11.2026; relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/ESM as per rules.

Salary

  • Technician 'B' (Level 3): basic ₹21,700, about ₹41,940 a month.
  • Technical Assistant (Level 7): basic ₹44,900, about ₹83,700.
  • JPA (Level 4): basic ₹25,500, about ₹48,780.
  • Officers (Level 10): basic ₹56,100, about ₹1,06,740.

Exam Pattern

  • Technician 'B' / Technical Assistant: CBT (MCQ), then a trade skill test on a go/no-go basis. Final merit is from the CBT.
  • JPA: CBT, then stenography skill test.
  • Officers: CBT and personal interview (60:40).
  • You may apply for both Technician 'B' and Technical Assistant with separate forms and fees.
