Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• For Sr. Asstt. Manager (Materials Management Division):
• Essential: Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognised University / Institution.
• Desirable: Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Materials Management from a recognised University / Institution.
• Desirable Experience: Five years post-qualification experience in Materials Management in an Industrial / Commercial / Government Undertaking.
• Deputation Eligibility: Officers from any Major Port holding analogous posts or feeder posts with regular service as specified in the recruitment rules are eligible to apply.
• Upper Age Limit for Direct Recruitment (Absorption): 35 years.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Selection will be made on the basis of merit, assessed through a benchmark in the overall grading in the ACRs / APARs of "Good".
• The deputation / absorption period will be initially for 03 years, extendable up to 04 years, and in exceptional circumstances up to 05 years.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates.
