Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree with Statistics as one of the main subjects, or a Bachelor's degree with Mathematics having Statistics as a paper, as specified in Section 3 of the notification.
• Qualification must be held (result declared) on the notification date, 28/10/2026.
• Distance-mode degrees must be UGC/DEB recognised.

Age Limit

• 18 to 44 years as on 01/07/2026 (upper age raised from 34 to 44 by G.O.Ms.No.86 dated 18.05.2026).
• Further relaxation for SC/ST/BC/EWS, PwD, ex-servicemen and government employees as per the notification.

Salary

• Pay scale: ₹36,750–1,06,990 plus Telangana Government allowances.

Exam Pattern

• Paper-I: General Studies and General Abilities – 150 questions, 150 minutes, 150 marks.
• Paper-II: Statistics (degree level) – 150 questions, 150 minutes, 150 marks.
• Total 300 marks. Mode: OMR or computer based (CBRT), as notified in the hall ticket; scores may be normalised if held in several sessions.
