Selection of Candidates
- 📝 Candidates must appear for CBT at allocated centers (Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Port Blair, Gangtok).
- 🔢 CBT Cut-off: UR/EWS/OBC/Ex-Servicemen – 50%, SC/ST – 40%.
- 📊 For Accounts and Official Language posts, candidates qualifying CBT will undergo a Computer Literacy Test (qualifying nature).
- ✅ For Electronics, appointment is subject to 12-week Ab-Initio Training (stipend Rs. 25,000/-) and 4-week On-the-Job Training.
- 🏁 Final selection based on CBT merit (and Computer Literacy Test qualification for relevant posts), followed by document verification and medical examination.
- 📅 Exam dates will be communicated via AAI website and registered email ID.
- 🚨 Non-compliance with exam instructions will lead to disqualification.

- These instructions are for candidates applying for the AAI Senior Assistant Recruitment 2025 (32 vacancies for Senior Assistant Electronics, Accounts, and Official Language in Eastern Region). Read them carefully before filling the AAI Application Form 2025 at aai.aero to ensure compliance with the official notification.
- ✈️ The Airports Authority of India (AAI) reserves the right to reject or cancel candidature at any stage without prior notice. All decisions of AAI will be final and binding.
- 📋 The selection process includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT) for all posts, a Computer Literacy Test for Accounts and Official Language, and training for Electronics. Final selection is based on merit, document verification, and medical examination.
- 🚫 Furnishing false information or incomplete application forms will lead to rejection or termination at any point, including after appointment.
- 📅 The age limit is 18–30 years as of 01 July 2025. Relaxations: SC/ST (5 years), OBC (NCL) (3 years), Ex-Servicemen (3 years), AAI Employees (10 years), Widows/Divorced Women (up to 35/40/38 years).
- 📝 Only one application per candidate is allowed. Multiple submissions will result in disqualification. The latest application will be considered in such cases.
- 💳 UR/OBC/EWS candidates must pay ₹1000/- (including GST); Female/SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/AAI Apprentices are exempted. The fee is non-refundable and must be paid online via PayU.
- 🖼️ Upload a recent passport-size photograph (50–100 KB, 3.5x4.5 cm, 200 dpi), signature (50–100 KB), and required documents (max 1 MB, PDF/JPG/JPEG) in the prescribed format during AAI Apply Online. Unclear or invalid uploads may lead to application rejection.
- 📂 During document verification, candidates must produce original documents: educational qualification certificates, domicile certificate, caste/EWS certificate (if applicable), age proof, photo ID, Ex-Servicemen discharge certificate, and AAI identity card (for AAI employees).
- 📧 Provide a valid and active email ID and mobile number during registration. All communications, including E-Admit Card and result announcements, will be shared via email/SMS or at aai.aero.
- ✏️ There is no correction window after submission. Double-check all entries before submitting the AAI Application Form 2025.
