Educational Qualification for Post Doctoral Fellow

• Ph.D. degree with research domain focusing on Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) or IT / IT Enabled Services (IT/ITES).
• Ph.D. must be obtained from a recognized University with first class (in terms of grades, etc.) in all preceding levels and a good academic record throughout.
• The applicant must have completed Ph.D. within the past 5 years as on the last date of application submission (22 October 2026).
• Applicants must not have completed their Ph.D. from IIIT Kalyani.
• Proven academic record including peer-reviewed publications and recognitions is required.

Other Eligibility Conditions

• PDF applicants currently in regular employment will not be considered.
• Scientists or researchers with temporary positions in academia or research institutions may be considered, but must relinquish their current roles if selected.
• Preference will be given to candidates with active industry linkages and a research proposal directed towards industry-specific problems.

Selection Process and Screening Clause

• Selection will be made on the basis of:
• Fulfillment of prescribed eligibility criteria — screening of applications and research proposals.
• Written test and/or Interview — scheduled on 28 October 2026.
• Shortlisted candidates will be informed of the interview date by e-mail.
• No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
• The Institute reserves the right not to fill the position if no candidate is found suitable.
• Mere fulfillment of eligibility criteria does not ensure an applicant's right to join as PDF.
