Post-Wise Vacancy & Pay Scale

• The above pay applies to engagement on Deputation and Contract basis. The initial contract period is two (02) years, extendable at the discretion of the Commission. This is a deputation / contractual engagement and does not confer permanent government cadre status or pension benefits.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Experience: Minimum 20 years of experience in a Government-owned Power Sector, Utility, or PSU for candidates on deputation. Minimum 20 years in the Power Sector for retired government officers and private-sector professionals.
• Age Limit: Maximum 55 years as on 30 September 2026.
• Desirable: Specialization in Regulatory Law.
• Exclusion Clause: Candidates who have a third child born on or after 26-01-2001, or persons convicted by a court of law for an offence involving moral turpitude, are not eligible.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Scrutiny of Applications: Submitted applications will be screened against prescribed eligibility, qualification, and experience criteria.
• Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. The interview schedule will be communicated separately.
• Note: No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the interview. The engagement is initially for a period of two years, extendable solely at the discretion of the Commission.
