Q4. How many vacancies are there?

• There are 8 posts in total: 4 Junior Project Fellows and 4 Project Assistants.

Q5. What is the qualification for JPF and Project Assistant?

• JPF needs a first class M. Sc. Degree in Forestry/ Botany/ Ecology/ Life Science/ Geography/ Agriculture. Project Assistant needs a first class Bachelor Degree in Forestry/ Botany/ Zoology/ Geography/ Agriculture.

Q6. What is the age limit?

• The upper age limit as on 01.07.2026 is 28 years for JPF and 25 years for Project Assistant. It is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/Women and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Q7. What is the salary, and is HRA paid on top?

• JPF gets Rs. 24,000/- + HRA as admissible per month. Project Assistant gets Rs. 22,000/- per month (Fixed).

Q8. Which documents should I bring?

• Bring the filled application form, attested copies of qualification and experience certificates, age and caste proof, one passport size photograph, and a No Objection Certificate if employed in a Government/public sector body or autonomous organization. Originals are needed for verification.
