UPSC Scientist-B Salary & Pay Scale

• Selected candidates will be appointed in Level 10 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) Pay Matrix for Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial posts.
• Pay Level: Level 10
• Pay Scale: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 (as per 7th CPC)
• Other Allowances: Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, etc., as per government rules.

Selection Process for UPSC IMD Jobs

• The selection will be a two-stage process:
• Shortlisting/Recruitment Test (RT): If a large number of applications are received, UPSC will shortlist candidates based on higher educational qualifications, experience, or a Recruitment Test.
