Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Assistant Professor of Food Engineering (02 Posts):Post 1 (Electrical & Electronics Engineering): B.E. with Master's Degree or M.Tech/Ph.D in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 55% (Traditional) / 60% (Trimester) / 70% (Semester) marks.Post 2 (Processing and Food Engineering): Master's Degree or M.Tech/Ph.D in Processing and Food Engineering with minimum 55% (Traditional) / 60% (Trimester) / 70% (Semester) marks.Additional Requirement: Must have cleared NET (UGC/ICAR/CSIR) or SLET/SET. Ph.D holders are exempted from NET/SLET/SET as per UGC Guidelines 2009/2016.
• Assistant Professor of Food Processing Technology (01 Post):Qualification: B.Tech in Food Science / Food Technology / Food Science and Technology / Food Process Engineering / Agril. Engineering and Master's Degree in Food Science and Technology / Food Processing & Technology / Food Process Engineering with minimum 55% (Traditional) / 60% (Trimester) / 70% (Semester) marks.Additional Requirement: Must have cleared NET (UGC/ICAR/CSIR) or SLET/SET. Ph.D holders are exempted from NET/SLET/SET as per UGC Guidelines 2009/2016.
• Provision for Non-Availability: In case of non-availability of candidates possessing NET or Ph.D on the date of Walk-in-Interview, candidates with Master's Degree alone may be considered for the post.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Candidates must report at 11:00 AM on 16-11-2026 at the venue.
• Selection will be based on a direct interview followed by document verification.
• Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on their academic qualifications and experience before the interview.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the Walk-in-Interview.

• Two copies of the application form in the prescribed format along with two copies of all related documents.
