Syllabus
- Graduate posts: English and comprehension, general knowledge and general intelligence, plus descriptive essay, grammar and translation. Matric posts: English, Hindi, general knowledge and arithmetic, bilingual. Skill tests follow the speeds in the advertisement (Senior PA dictation 110 wpm class, PA 100 wpm, typing 40 wpm).
Selection Method
- Shortlisting ratios are in the scheme (up to 25 times vacancies for several Tier-I lists, then about 10 times for skill tests). Interview has no minimum qualifying mark. If marks tie, the older candidate ranks higher; if dates of birth match, English first-name alphabetical order is used. Post and department choices are made at interview and cannot be changed later. E-dossier upload is compulsory after shortlisting.
