Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Young Professional-I:B.F.Sc. / B.Sc. degree in Zoology / Life Science / Oceanography / Statistics.Minimum 60% marks or equivalent OGP required.Desirable Experience: Experience in Deep Sea fish taxonomy, Data analytics, Fish biology, Oceanographic analysis, or Sea-going research. Familiarity with on-board activities and sea-going duties.
• Field Assistant:10th Pass (Matriculation).Desirable Skills: On-board experience, seaworthiness, knowledge of fishing operations, local fishery resource knowledge, proficiency in Gujarati language.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Candidates fulfilling essential qualifications and experience will be called for a Walk-in Interview on 23 November 2026.
• Reporting time is 10:00 AM. Latecomers may not be permitted.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the walk-in interview.
• The decision of the competent authority of ICAR-CMFRI regarding the selection process is final and binding.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Duly filled application form in the prescribed format (printed on pages 3 and 4 of the notification).
• Recent self-attested passport-size colour photograph.
• Original certificates and documents for verification.
• One set of self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents including educational qualifications, age proof, experience, and category certificates.
