Selection of Candidates
- 📝 Candidates must appear for Tier-I at one of the three centers allotted out of their chosen preferences. Questions marked ‘Mark for Review’ will not be evaluated.
- 🔢 Tier-I Cut-off (out of 100 marks): UR – 35, OBC/EWS – 34, SC/ST – 33. Ex-servicemen will be treated in their respective categories.
- 📊 Tier-II Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted for Tier-II at 10 times the number of vacancies, subject to minimum cut-off in Tier-I and normalization of scores.
- ✅ Tier-III Shortlisting: Based on combined performance in Tier-I and Tier-II, candidates will be shortlisted at 5 times the number of vacancies, provided they score at least 33% (17 out of 50 marks) in Tier-II.
- 🏁 Final selection will be based on combined performance in Tier-I, Tier-II, and Tier-III/Interview, followed by character & antecedent verification and medical examination.
- 📅 The schedule for Tier-II and Interview will be communicated via registered email ID.
- 📍 Tier-II & Tier-III may be conducted in limited centers based on logistics; IB reserves the right to club centers.
- 🚨 Non-adherence to admit card instructions (entry, conduct, frisking) will result in disqualification.

- City classes (HRA): X = Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Greater Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune. Y and Z cities are as listed by the Department of Expenditure (OM 21.07.2015). HRA is not paid if you live in government quarters.
- DA: 63% of basic pay, the central rate from 1 Jul 2026.
- TA: The X column uses the higher rate for listed big cities. Y and Z use the rate for other places; some Y cities (e.g. Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna) get the higher rate.
- CGHS: Deducted only in CGHS cities (all X cities have CGHS; many Y cities do). It is not deducted elsewhere.
- Not included: income tax (depends on your regime and declarations), group insurance (CGEGIS), professional tax and special allowances (e.g. NPA, MSP, risk or hardship allowances). Pay is for the entry cell; the official notification prevails.
- IB staff also receive Special Security Allowance at 20% of basic pay (₹8,980), which is not included in the table above.

- These instructions are for candidates applying for the IB ACIO Executive Recruitment 2025 (995 Executive vacancies). Read them carefully before filling the IB ACIO Application Form 2025 at mha.gov.in to ensure compliance with the official notification.

- 🚫 Furnishing false information or incomplete application forms will lead to rejection or termination at any point, including after appointment.
- 📅 The age limit is 18–27 years as of 05 August 2025. SC/ST: 5 years relaxation, OBC: 3 years, PwD and Ex-Servicemen as per government norms.
- 📝 Only one application per candidate is allowed. Multiple submissions will result in disqualification. The latest application will be considered in such cases.
