HR & Behavioral interview questions

Tell me about yourself, strengths, weaknesses and situation questions, with sample answers.

  1. Do you have any questions for us?

Always ask one to three thoughtful questions. Ask about the role, the team, how new joiners are trained, or what success looks like in the first few months. Avoid questions whose answers are on the website, and leave salary, leave and work timings for the HR discussion after an offer unless they raise it.

Present (who you are and what you study or do now), past (one or two relevant projects, internships or achievements with results) and future (why this role and company fit what you want to do next). 8. What are your salary expectations as a fresher?

First, try to let the company share its range, saying you are flexible and more focused on the role. For campus roles with a fixed package, simply say you are comfortable with the package offered.
