Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Senior Scientific Officer (DNA): M.Sc. (1st Division) or Ph.D. in Zoology / Physical Anthropology / Genetics / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Molecular Biology / Forensic Science. Must have 5 years of post-qualification hands-on experience in Forensic DNA casework.
  • Senior Scientific Assistant (DNA): M.Sc. (1st Division) or Ph.D. in relevant discipline. Must have 3 years of post-qualification hands-on experience in Forensic DNA casework.
  • Scientific Assistant (DNA): M.Sc. (at least 2nd Division) in relevant discipline. Must have 1 year of post-qualification experience in Forensic DNA casework.
  • Lab Attendant: Matriculation (10th) pass from a recognised Board. Preference given to candidates with prior laboratory experience.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • The selection process involves two stages:
  • Screening on the basis of essential educational qualification and experience.
  • Interview before a Selection Committee constituted by the Director, FSL (Haryana).
  • No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for the interview.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth
  • All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (Relevant Qualifications like M.Sc., Ph.D.)
  • Experience Certificates on Official Letterhead proving Forensic DNA casework experience (if applicable)
  • Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable)
  • Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)
