  • Candidates must possess the required educational and professional qualification, relevant experience of minimum one year, and must be between 18 to 27 years of age as of the closing date of receipt of applications.

Head Constable (Laboratory Assistant)(i) 12th class pass with Biology from a recognized Board.(ii) Certificate course of min. 1 year in Lab Assistant Course.(iii) Min. 1 year experience as Lab Assistant in recognized lab/hospital.
Head Constable (Physiotherapy Assistant)(i) 12th class pass from a recognized Board.(ii) Certificate course of min. 1 year in Physiotherapy.(iii) Min. 1 year experience as Physiotherapy Assistant.
Constable (Nursing Assistant cum Medic)(i) 10th class pass from a recognized Board.(ii) First Aid Certificate from St. John's Ambulance or Red Cross.(iii) Min. 1 year experience as Nursing Assistant in min. 50-bedded hospital.

SSB Paramedical Selection Process 2026

  • The SSB Selection Process includes the following stages:
  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Male/Female race as per post norms; Ex-Servicemen exempted.
  • Physical Standard Test (PST): Height and chest measurement as per category-wise norms.
  • Written Examination (CBT): Objective type with negative marking.
  • Documentation & Medical Examination (DME/RME): Top 3 times vacancies called based on written marks.
  • Final Merit List: Based on written exam performance.

How to Apply for SSB Paramedical Recruitment 2026

  • Visit recruitment.ssb.gov.in and read instructions.
  • Fill Part-I: Post name, personal details, category, etc.
  • Fill Part-II: Upload photograph (JPG, 4–12 KB, 100×120 pixels) and signature (JPG, 4–12 KB, 140×80 pixels).
  • Note down the generated Registration Number.
  • Fill Part-III: Pay fee (if applicable) via online mode.
  • Print the application form for reference.
  • Report to recruitment venue with original documents on the Admit Card date.

Important Instructions

  • Apply for only ONE post from the three mentioned.
  • Only online applications accepted.
  • Date of Birth and name as per Matriculation certificate are final.
  • No TA/DA for recruitment tests; candidates must arrange stay.
