Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Manager (Marketing):Educational: A Degree in any faculty from a recognized University or equivalent.Post Graduate: Full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) / Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) / Master of Business Administration (MBA) from a recognized University with specialisation in Marketing.Experience: Minimum 5 years of work experience, out of which at least 2 years must be in the Tourism and Hospitality sector.Computer Knowledge: Working knowledge of computers is mandatory.Language: Knowledge of Konkani is required. Knowledge of Marathi is desirable.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • GTDC shall follow a two-stage selection process:
  • Screening Test (Conditional): If the number of applications received is substantially more than the number of posts advertised, GTDC shall hold a screening test for shortlisting candidates.
  • Written Examination: Conducted as per Government of Goa OM No. 1/6/83-PER (Vol.II) Pt.(a)/143 dated 14/01/2019, carrying a total of 100 marks distributed as:General Knowledge: 30 marksKnowledge of Marketing / Sales / Financial Management / Tourism Industry / Culture / History of Goa: 50 marksKnowledge of Computers: 20 marks
  • No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for the written examination.

Required Documents & Enclosures for Candidates

  • The following documents must be enclosed with the application form:
  • Self-certified copies of all academic qualification certificates and mark sheets
  • 15 Years Residential Certificate issued by competent authority
  • Valid Employment Exchange Card
  • Birth Certificate as proof of date of birth
  • Caste Certificate issued by the Government of Goa (if applicable)
  • Certificates for participation at State / National Level competitions (if applicable)
  • Xerox copy of the NOC letter addressed to employer, duly acknowledged (for in-service Government candidates)
  • Two recent passport-size photographs and valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)
