Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• The walk-in interview is open exclusively to retired officers from Central Government, Union Territories, Public Sector Undertakings, Semi-Government, Statutory or Autonomous Organisations. The candidate must have held the rank of Section Officer, Store Officer, Under Secretary or higher and must possess five years of hands-on experience in finance and accounts matters.
• Minimum Rank at Retirement: Section Officer / Store Officer / Under Secretary or above
• Domain Experience: Five years in handling finance and accounts related matters
• Maximum Age: 64 years as on the date of the walk-in interview (19 October 2026)
• Citizenship: Indian

Selection Process

• Document Verification: Candidates must carry the filled-up application form in the prescribed format and all original and self-attested photocopies of supporting documents along with one passport-size photograph.
• Walk-in Interview: Eligible candidates will be assessed through a personal interview on 19 October 2026 at the CIBS campus in Leh.
• No screening written test will be conducted as the engagement is for a single consultant position. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for the interview.

3. Is there any application fee for CIBS Consultant (Accounts) recruitment?

• No, there is no application fee for this walk-in interview. Candidates need to simply download the application form, fill it, and appear in person at the venue on the interview date.

5. What will be the salary for the Consultant (Accounts) post?

• The remuneration will be calculated as last pay drawn minus pension plus transport allowance, and the total amount shall not exceed the figure admissible at the time of the officer's retirement.
