Eligibility Criteria: Qualification & Age Limit

  • Candidates must meet the educational qualifications and age limits specified in the Official Notification PDF. The Selection Process is based on the Walk-In Interview.

Educational Qualification

  • Project Scientist: First Class (60%) Master’s Degree in Metallurgy/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering/E-Waste Resource Engineering & Management OR Doctoral Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Metallurgy/Materials Science/Physics with research experience in e-waste recycling.
  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF): First Class (60%) M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Material Science OR B.Tech/BE in Metallurgy/Chemical/Environmental/Mechanical/Materials Science/Electrical Engineering. Desirable experience in e-waste recycling.
  • Technical Assistant: First Class (60%) B.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry OR Diploma in Metallurgy/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Technical Support Staff: First Class (60%) ITI in Metallurgy/Chemical/Mechanical/Fitter.

Age Limit (as on Walk-In Interview Date)

  • Project Scientist: Maximum 37 years
  • JRF, Technical Assistant, Technical Support Staff: Maximum 30 years
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. of India rules: 3 years for OBC (NCL), 5 years for SC/ST. No age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC in Unreserved positions.

  • Candidates interested in Apply Online for C-MET Vacancy must appear for the Walk-In Interview as per the details below:
  • Registration: Between 09:00 Hrs. to 10:00 Hrs. on 21 April 2026 at C-MET, Hyderabad.
  • Documents Required: Application in prescribed format, original educational mark sheets, caste certificate, recent passport-size photo, and NOC (if working in Govt./PSU).
  • Venue: Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (C-MET), IDA Phase – III, Cherlapally, HCL (PO), Hyderabad – 500 051.
  • Important Note: No TA/DA will be paid. Candidates must be medically fit as per C-MET requirements.
