Post-Wise Vacancy & Pay Scale

• Note: The institute reserves the right not to fill any post. Honorarium for Adjunct Professor can also be Rs. 8,000 per day or Rs. 2,000 per hour. For Adjunct Fellow, it is Rs. 6,000 per day or Rs. 1,500 per hour.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Mandatory: The candidate must be an accomplished professional in the field, comparable to at least the top one-third of regular faculty.
• Qualification: The notification does not specify a strict minimum educational qualification. For candidates from industry or research organizations, a Post-graduate or Ph.D. degree may not be essential.
• Experience: Normally, at least 10 years of experience in the relevant field is required. For emerging/cutting-edge technologies, persons with more than 5 years of experience can also be considered.
• Eligible Candidates: Serving and retired scientists, engineers, academicians, practitioners, IAS/IPS officials, and professionals from reputed PSUs, R&D organizations, and overseas academic institutions.
• Industry Experience: Private industry experience is considered if the company is incorporated under the Indian Companies Act of 1956.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Short-listing: Applications will be shortlisted using criteria higher than those advertised, varying by department.
• Presentation & Interview: Shortlisted candidates must appear before the Selection Committee on a date and venue notified separately.
• Document Verification: Verification of original documents at the time of interview.
• Medical Examination: Candidates must be declared fit by the Institute's Medical Board/Medical Officer.
• Screening Clause: Meeting the advertised requirements does not automatically entitle a candidate to an interview. The institute may restrict the number of candidates.
• TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

• Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth.
• All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (Relevant Qualifications).
• Experience Certificates on Official Letterhead (if applicable).
• Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable).
• Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN).
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) for candidates employed in Government, Autonomous Bodies or PSUs.
• All original documents must be carried for the Interview.
