Eligibility for Project Scientist-II

  • Essential Qualification:Postgraduate degree in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Medical Microbiology/Veterinary Science/Molecular Biology/Virology with PhD in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Medical Microbiology/Molecular Biology/Virology.Three years of experience in molecular diagnosis of infectious disease, preferably in a biocontainment facility.
  • Desirable Experience:Two years of facility management experience in BSL-2 or higher biosafety level lab.Experience in supervising a small/mid-size team.Experience in diagnostic assay development/validation studies with hands-on experience of working with BSL-3 pathogens.Demonstrated commitment toward risk-pathogen testing and management.
  • Age Limit: 40 years
