Post-Wise Vacancy & Pay Scale

• The consolidated pay of Rs. 26,000/- is the maximum monthly remuneration. Selected candidates are not entitled to any other allowances, benefits, or service perks. This is a 1-year contractual appointment only.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Post: Gym Instructor
• Candidates must satisfy one of the following qualification pathways, each with a mandatory minimum of 2 years working experience in a recognized gym:
• Pathway A: Degree in Exercise Science / Exercise Physiology from a UGC-recognized institution, with at least 2 years working experience in any recognized gym.
• Pathway B: Fitness Trainer Course Certificate / Gym Trainer Course Certificate / Fitness Management Course Certificate from a nationally recognized institution, with at least 2 years working experience in any recognized gym.
• Pathway C: B.P.E / B.P.Ed / B.P.E.S from a UGC-recognized Central/State Government institution, plus a Diploma or Certificate in Gym/Fitness Instructor from the same class of institution, with at least 2 years working experience in any recognized gym.
• Desirable Qualification: Valid and updated CPR / AED First Aid Certificate.

Age Limit

• Candidates must not exceed 35 years of age as on 01 January 2026. No age relaxation details are specified in the notification.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Direct Walk-in Interview: Eligible candidates who report on the scheduled date will be interviewed by the Director of Students Welfare, Kerala Agricultural University.
• Document Verification: Original certificates of qualifications, date of birth, and experience will be verified on the spot.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates attending the walk-in interview. Candidates must bear their own travel and accommodation expenses. The final appointment decision rests solely with the Director of Students Welfare.

• Valid and updated CPR / AED First Aid Certificate (desirable)
• Two recent passport-size photographs and a valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)
• Key Instructions: The appointment is strictly contractual for 1 year. Candidates must report directly to the Directorate of Students Welfare, Vellanikkara campus by 10:00 AM on 26 October 2026. No prior application form submission is required — walk-in attendance with documents is the sole application process.
