Eligibility Criteria and Educational Qualification

  • Research Associate (RA): Ph.D./MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree in Agricultural Engineering / Food Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Instrumentation;
  • OR having 3 years of research, teaching, and design/development experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
  • Desired Experience: Interdisciplinary research experience in designing and developing food processing machinery with field-trial validation.

Selection Process and Screening Clause

  • Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on minimum prescribed qualifications and experience. Mere possession of qualifications does not guarantee an interview call.
  • Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview at IIT Kharagpur campus.
  • No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the interview.
