Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Rigger: Minimum 50% aggregate in 8th Standard.
  • Crane Operator Overhead (SI): Minimum 50% aggregate in 10th Standard.
  • All Other Designated Trades (e.g., Electrician, Fitter, Welder): Minimum 50% aggregate in relevant subjects in 10th Standard followed by minimum 50% aggregate in ITI (Consolidated all semesters) in respective trades under NCVT or SCVT.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Shortlisting of Applications: Based on merit from 10th and ITI marks; ratio 1:25 if applications are excessive.
  • Written Examination: Objective type, OMR format, 100 questions (35 General Science, 35 Mathematics, 30 General Knowledge), 2-hour duration, bilingual (English/Hindi).
  • Document Verification: Verification of original documents uploaded online.
  • Medical Examination: As per Apprentices Rules, 1992; candidates must submit medical fitness certificate from a Government Hospital.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection process.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth.
  • All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (Relevant Qualifications).
  • Experience Certificates on Official Letterhead (if applicable).
  • Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable).
  • Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN).
  • Medical Fitness Certificate from a Government Hospital.
