Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Backward Tribes: Class 6 Pass or higher recognized qualification.
  • Other Eligible Naga Tribes: Class 8 Pass or higher recognized qualification.
  • Age: 18 to 37 years as of 14 October 2026.
  • Must belong to Indigenous Inhabitant Tribes of Nagaland.
  • Applicants can apply for only one eligible district.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Selection involves:
  • Physical/Medical Standards Test (Qualifying)
  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET) - 45 marks
  • Written Examination - 40 marks (80 MCQs, 2 hours, English)
  • Interview - 10 marks
  • NCC Certification Marks - up to 5 marks
  • No TA/DA will be paid for the recruitment process.
