Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Post Name: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / PA-1
  • Essential Qualification:B.Tech. and M.Tech. in Polymer Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or Chemical Technology; ORB.Sc. (Hons) and M.Sc. in Chemistry from a recognized University/Institute.Minimum 60% marks or CGPA of 7.5/10 in qualifying degrees.
  • Preferred Qualification:Qualified national level examinations like GATE, CSIR-JRF/NET(JRF), UGC-JRF, or Rajiv Gandhi Fellowship.Prior knowledge in Electrochemistry and experience in electrochemical analysis/materials design.
  • Desirable Skills:Experience in electrochemical characterization techniques (CV, EIS, DPV, etc.).Mathematics as a subsidiary subject at 12th and bachelor’s level.Experience in SEM, UV-Vis, XRD, and handling sophisticated equipment.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Applications will be screened based on qualifications and experience.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

  • Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth (if required at interview stage).
  • All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (Starting from 12th standard).
  • Experience Certificates on Official Letterhead (if applicable).
  • Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable).
  • Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN).
