Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
• Qualification Required: Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Aerospace Engineering / Chemical Engineering from a recognized institute with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 on a 10.0-point scale (or 65% marks)
• Additional Requirement: The applicant must also have a good GATE/NET score and meet at least one of the two criteria (CGPA threshold and GATE/NET score)
• Desirable Skills: Good understanding of fluid mechanics, prior experiment experience, knowledge of surface wettability and capillary phenomena, and expertise in micro/nano fabrication are desirable

Selection Process & Appointment Duration

• The selected candidate will be appointed initially for one year and, based on performance, the appointment may be extended up to 3 years or the project completion date, whichever is earlier
• The selected candidate will also be eligible to apply for the Ph.D. program at IIT Ropar as per existing institute rules
• Employment Nature: This is a temporary, project-based position under the ARG Project funded by ANRF. It is not a permanent cadre post and does not confer lifetime pension or permanent government job security
• Project Duration: 3 years or project completion date, whichever is earlier
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the recruitment process
