Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Educational Qualification: Must possess the educational qualification prescribed by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or the respective Statutory Body for the post of Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor.
  • Alternative Qualification: Eminent persons or accomplished professionals from industry with domain knowledge of significant value are eligible to apply.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 65 years. Engagement beyond 65 years is discouraged except for persons with exceptionally brilliant academic or industrial background.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Department level discussion with the candidate.
  • Recommendation by the Selection Committee.
  • Approval by the competent authority.
  • Walk-in interview on the scheduled date (12 November 2026).
  • Important Clause: Candidates must report at least half an hour before the scheduled interview. Late arrivals will not be permitted. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the walk-in interview.

  • One set of self-attested copies of documents/degrees.
  • Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth.
