Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Educational Qualification: The candidate must be a Law graduate holding an LL.B. degree from a university recognised by the Bar Council of India.
• Practice Experience: A minimum of seven years of practice as an advocate in the Civil Courts of Bihar is mandatory. The advocate must have practised in the Civil Courts of Bihar for this minimum duration.
• Bar Council Enrolment: The candidate must be enrolled with the Bar Council of Bihar and must produce the enrolment certificate along with practice certificates.
• Citizenship: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Application Screening: All submitted applications will be screened on the basis of educational qualification, Bar Council enrolment, and proof of minimum 7 years of practice in the Civil Courts of Bihar.
• Appointment by the Government: Based on the screening and evaluation of eligible applicants, the appropriate authority will appoint the selected candidate to the post of Special Public Prosecutor on a contractual basis.
