Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Educational Qualification: Degree of a recognized University in India.
• Shorthand Proficiency: Speed of 120 w.p.m. in Shorthand (English).
• Computer Typing: Knowledge of computer operation with typing speed of 40 w.p.m.
• Experience: Holding analogous post on regular basis; OR minimum 5 years regular service in the cadre of Private Secretary / Senior PA / PA / Senior Stenographer in High Courts or District Courts.
• Age Limit: Candidate age should not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications (1st October, 2026).

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Shorthand Skill Test: English language at 120 w.p.m. with permissible 5% mistakes. Maximum marks: 100. Minimum qualifying marks: 50.
• Interaction: Candidates qualifying the skill test will be subjected to an interaction.
• Record Review: Perusal of ACRs/APARs of the last five years.
• Vigilance Clearance: Mandatory vigilance clearance.
• Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the skill test/interaction.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Prescribed proforma application form (available in the official notification PDF).
• Attested copies of all educational qualifications and experience certificates.
• ACRs/APARs of the last five years (attested).
• Vigilance clearance certificate from the concerned High Court.
• Supporting documents and photographs as specified.
• Applications must be routed through the concerned High Court. Scanned copies to be emailed to [email protected] for early scrutiny. Original applications with documents to be sent by post to Recruitment Cell, Supreme Court of India, Tilak Marg, New Delhi 110001.
