Post-Wise Vacancy & Pay Scale

• Age Relaxation: ST/SC candidates of Jharkhand State – 5 Years; OBC (BC-I/BC-II) candidates of Jharkhand State – 3 Years. Reservation applies only to BC-I/BC-II, SC and ST candidates of Jharkhand State; candidates from other states are treated as General.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Candidates will first be screened on the basis of minimum required qualification.
• Screened-out candidates will be called for a personal interview.
• A written test may also be conducted for short-listing if the number of screened candidates is large.
• The final selection list will be prepared purely on the merit of the interview (or interview + written test score).
• No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the written test or interview.

Salary & Emoluments

• Research Associate (RA): Rs. 47,000 per month (fixed)
• Junior Project Assistant (JPA): Rs. 25,920 per month (fixed)
• RA and JPA are not entitled to any other benefits such as Dearness Allowance, Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, medical benefits, or annual increments.
• Only casual leave is allowed as per the rules of JSAC and Government of Jharkhand.

• OBC candidates: Rs. 300
• SC/ST candidates: Exempted
• Fee must be paid by online bank transfer to JSAC Account No. 490210110012465, IFSC Code BKID0004902, Bank of India, Club Side Branch, Main Road, Ranchi. The UTR Number and date of payment must be entered in the online application form. Fee is non-refundable. If applying for multiple posts, a separate application and fee are required for each post.

• Register online on the JSAC official portal (https://jsac.jharkhand.gov.in) from 21 October 2026 at 03:00 PM.
• Pay the application fee online and note the UTR Number and payment date.
• Complete the online application form (including UTR details) before 18 November 2026 at 09:00 PM.
• Take a printout of the filled online application form and attach self-attested copies of all required documents.
• Seal the envelope and superscribe it with: "Application for the post of ........................."
• Send by Speed Post only to: The Director, Jharkhand Space Applications Center, Department of IT & e-Governance, Govt. of Jharkhand, 2nd Floor, Engineers Hostel-1, Near Gol Chakkar, Dhurwa, Ranchi, Jharkhand – 834004, on or before 25 November 2026 till 05:00 PM.

• All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (SSC, Intermediate, Graduation, Post-Graduation, Diploma, Ph.D as applicable)
