Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Senior Technical Assistant: Full-Time Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
  • Experience: 02 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field of Engineering.
  • Marks Required: Minimum 50% for General/EWS. Minimum 45% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD against reserved posts.
  • Higher Qualification: Candidates with Degree or PG in the same discipline are also eligible to apply.
  • Excluded Experience: Internship, teaching, academic, fellowship, or PhD research experience is not counted.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Written Test: Objective type, 125 questions, duration 2.5 hours, no negative marking.
  • Minimum Marks: 50% (UR/EWS) or 45% (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) to qualify for document scrutiny.
  • Document Verification: Scrutiny of uploaded documents followed by original verification at joining.
  • Medical Examination: Candidates must be medically fit as per RITES Rules.
  • Travel Allowance: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test or verification.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Original High School Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth.
  • Consolidated Mark Sheets and Degree/Diploma Certificates.
  • Experience Certificates (Offer letters are not accepted as proof of experience).
  • Valid Category Certificates in Govt. of India format (Annexure I/II/III as applicable).
  • Aadhaar/Voter ID/PAN Card for Identity Verification.
  • SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates must possess valid certificates at the time of joining.
