- The State Bank of India (SBI) has issued Advertisement No. CRPD/SCO/2026-27/28 for 60 Specialist Cadre Officer posts on a regular basis: Manager (Security), MMGS-III and Deputy Manager (Security), MMGS-II. Category-wise Vacancy Details
- The 60 vacancies are advertised jointly for both grades and are provisional. Selected officers may be posted anywhere in India.
Eligibility
- Education: graduate in any discipline from a Government-recognised university or institution (as on 31/10/2026).
- Manager (Security), MMGS-III: an officer not below the rank of Major in the Indian Army (or equivalent in the Navy / Air Force) with at least 10 years of commissioned service, or an officer not below Deputy Commandant in a paramilitary force with at least 10 years of service as an officer.
- Deputy Manager (Security), MMGS-II: an officer not below the rank of Captain in the Indian Army (or equivalent in the Navy / Air Force) with at least 5 years of commissioned service, or an officer not below Assistant Commandant in a paramilitary force with at least 5 years of service as an officer.
- Medical: SHAPE-1 or an equivalent medical category as on the date of the advertisement. Upload the discharge book / service record, or the latest Medical Board document if still in service.
Age Limit
- 25 to 40 years as on 31/10/2026 (maximum age is for UR candidates).
- Relaxation in the upper age limit for reserved categories as per Government of India guidelines. Cumulative relaxation is not allowed.

Salary
- Manager (Security), MMGS-III: ₹85,920–2,680/5–99,320–2,980/2–1,05,820.
- Deputy Manager (Security), MMGS-II: ₹64,820–2,340/1–67,160–2,680/10–93,960.
- Plus DA, HRA, CCA, PF, NPS, LFC, medical facility and other perks as per bank rules. Probation: 6 months.
Exam Pattern
- No negative marking.
- Only Professional Knowledge counts for merit; the other three are qualifying.
- Interview: 100 marks. Final merit: online test (PK) 70% + interview 30%.
