Category-wise Vacancy Details

Eligibility

• Essential: graduation with at least 50% marks.
• Desirable: good oral and written communication; knowledge or experience of accounting software (Tally etc.); good knowledge of computer applications and office software.

Age Limit

• Minimum 18 years; maximum 27 years (UR) as on the last date of online application.
• OBC (non-creamy layer): up to 30 years. Central Government employees get relaxation as per rules.

Salary

• Level 4 of the 7th CPC pay matrix.
• New Pension Scheme (NPS) applies.

Exam Pattern

• Level-1 (qualifying, Chennai only): objective test on General English, General Knowledge, General Intelligence & Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude (Arithmetic).
• Level-2 (descriptive): Part A – English (comprehension, precis, grammar) 50%; Part B – essay, noting and drafting 50%.
• Up to 20 candidates per post (1:20) are shortlisted for Level-2 on Level-1 marks, after document verification.
• Final selection is on Level-2 marks only.
