1. Educational Qualification

• Master's Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with minimum 50% marks.
• Must have passed Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by H.P Board of School Education or authorized agency.
• Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English is essential.
• Note: Matriculation and 10+2 must be passed from a school situated within Himachal Pradesh (Applicable only to non-Bonafide Himachalis).

2. Age Limit (As on 01.01.2026)

• Minimum: 18 Years | Maximum: 45 Years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per Himachal Pradesh Government rules for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.

Salary & Honorarium Details

• Candidates selected for the Teacher posts will receive a Fixed Honorarium of Rs. 30,000/- per month. This amount is payable for 10 months in an academic year.
• Important Note: This is a scheme-based engagement (Contractual) and not a permanent pensionable post. The appointment is for a period of 5 years.

• The selection will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) or Written Screening Test.

• Duration: 1.5 Hours (90 Minutes)
• Total Marks: 120
• Total Questions: 120 (Objective Type - Multiple Choice)
• Marking Scheme: 1 Mark per question.

Syllabus Breakdown:

• Subject Knowledge: Questions from the prescribed essential qualification level (Master's Degree level).
• General Awareness: General Knowledge (including HP GK), Current Affairs, Everyday Science, Logical Reasoning, Social Science.
• Language: General English & General Hindi (Matric Standard).
• Qualifying Marks: 45% for General, 40% for SC/ST/OBC/WFF. Relaxation may be provided by the commission.
