Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Applicants must satisfy any one of the following educational qualifications to be eligible for the Yoga Instructor post at NAM Thrissur:
  • Degree in BNYS or BAMS from a recognized university.
  • M.Sc. (Yoga) from a recognized university.
  • M.Phil. (Yoga) from a recognized university.
  • Post Graduate Diploma or Post Graduate Degree in Yoga from a recognized university, with one year of experience in Yoga.
  • 1-Year Certificate Course in Yoga from a government department, with one year of experience in Yoga.
  • Diploma in Yogic Sciences and/or Sports Yoga / Certificate Course in Yoga (1-year duration) from YCB (Yoga Certification Board) / SCOLE Kerala.
  • Yoga Teacher Training Course (D.V.T Course) passed from State Resource Centre.

Age Limit

  • Upper age limit is 40 years. Age relaxation, if any, will be as per Kerala Government norms applicable to contractual appointments.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Document Verification: All original certificates and self-attested photocopies will be verified at the venue on the walk-in date.
  • Written Test: If the number of eligible candidates attending exceeds 20, a screening written test will be conducted at the venue.
  • Interview: Shortlisted candidates (or all candidates, if fewer than 20) will appear for a personal interview on the same day.
  • No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the walk-in interview.

  • Original certificates to prove educational qualification, age, and address.
  • Self-attested photocopies of all required certificates and documents.
  • Experience certificates (if claiming the category requiring 1-year Yoga experience).

  • Valid caste / category certificate if applying under reserved category.
  • Candidates must report to the District Programme Manager Office, National AYUSH Mission, Thrissur by 10:30 AM on 26 October 2026 with all original documents. Late arrivals may not be entertained.
