Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Assistant Professor Grade-I: Master's Degree in Geology with at least 60% marks; Doctorate degree in Geology; Proven ability to carry out independent work with minimum two publications in SCI indexed journals.
  • Assistant Professor Grade-II: Master's Degree in Geology with 3 years research experience.
  • Assistant Professor Grade-II (Geophysics): Master's Degree in Geophysics with 3 years research experience.
  • Junior Superintendent: Degree with 4 years experience in administration.
  • Stenographer Grade-I: Officers holding analogous post or with ten years regular service (Deputation post, duration 03 years).
  • Technical Assistant (Electronics): B.E/B.Tech or Bachelor Degree or 3-year Diploma in Electronics.
  • Technical Assistant (Library): Bachelor degree in Library Science / Information Science.
  • Senior Administrative Assistant: Degree with typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi and 2 years administrative experience.
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules. Candidates must possess benchmark disability of not less than 40% for PwBD category.

  • No traveling allowance (TA/DA) will be paid to candidates for attending tests or interviews.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Educational qualification certificates in chronological order.
  • Certificate of Date of Birth.
  • Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/EWS) in prescribed format.
  • Experience certificates.
  • Proof of payment of application fee.
  • Color photograph not exceeding 200KB.
  • Send hard copy of application by Speed Post to the Registrar, IIG, Navi Mumbai on or before 16 November 2026 (17:00 hrs).
  • Envelope must be superscripted with 'Application for the post of...'.
