Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Research Advisor-Facilitator:Postgraduate degree in the relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks.Essential knowledge of research, publication, and basic computer applications.Minimum 3 years of experience in a higher education institution covering research methodology, research papers, data collection and data analysis.Adequate knowledge of Gujarati and Hindi, and a general knowledge of English.
• Statistical Analyst:Postgraduate degree (Statistics, Mathematics or a related discipline) with minimum 55% marks.Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis, report analysis, coordination and drawing findings.Adequate knowledge of Gujarati and Hindi, and a general knowledge of English.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Selection for both posts will be made solely through a direct Oral Interview on 4 November 2026.
• Candidates must report for document verification at least 30 minutes before the scheduled interview time (by 10:30 AM).
• Incomplete applications, unclear documents, or certificates submitted without self-attestation may lead to outright rejection.
• University reserves the right to amend, alter or cancel the advertisement or selection process at its discretion.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the walk-in interview.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Filled and signed SGGU prescribed application form (separate form for each post if applying for both).
• Self-attested copies of all educational certificates and mark sheets (SSC, HSC, Bachelor's, Master's, NET/SET/PhD where applicable).
• Self-attested experience certificates on official letterhead (latest first).
• Up to 5 copies of published research papers in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals.
• Caste / Non-Creamy Layer / EWS certificate (if claiming reservation), Annexure-C per Gujarat Public Universities Uniform Statutes 2024.
• Endorsement by employer (if applicable).
• Valid Government Photo ID (Aadhaar / PAN / Voter ID / Driving Licence) – mandatory for entry.
• Two recent passport-size photographs.

3. Is there any application fee for SGGU Walk-In Interview?

• The official notification (Advt. No. SGGU/2120/2026) does not mention any application fee. Candidates should carry the filled prescribed application form along with self-attested documents only.

5. What is the salary structure for these posts?

• Research Advisor-Facilitator: Rs. 40,000/- per month (fixed). Statistical Analyst: Rs. 25,000/- per month (fixed). No additional allowances or pay revision applicable during the contract period.
