Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Project Associate - II: Master's Degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry OR Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. Mandatory Experience: 2 years of research experience in fermentation, process optimization for enzyme production.
  • Project Associate - I: Master's Degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry OR Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. No prior experience specified.
  • Desirable Skills: Research in fermentation, process optimization for enzyme production, and enzyme purification techniques. Experience in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations.
  • Condition: Candidates currently engaged in any project at CSIR-IIIM must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) before applying.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Primary Selection: Based on an Online Interview conducted via Microsoft Teams.
  • Screening Clause: A written examination may be conducted for screening if the number of eligible candidates is large.
  • Document Verification: Original documents must be produced at the time of the interview/selection as requested.
  • Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification.

  • Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth
  • All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (Relevant Qualifications)

  • Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)
  • Forms submitted after 31 October 2026, 05:00 PM shall not be entertained and will be summarily rejected.
