Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Degree: Must hold a degree from a recognized University. Preference for candidates with Social Science or Psychology as a subject.
• Experience: Minimum 02 (Two) years of experience in Social Work, Child Psychiatry, or Family Counselling.
• Age: Candidates must have attained 35 years and must not have crossed 65 years as of 19 November 2026.
• Integrity: Must possess impeccable integrity.
• Preferences: Equal merit preference given to women candidates; preference to former Judges or those with family counselling experience.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Application Scrutiny: Applications received by 19 November 2026 will be screened for eligibility.
• Shortlisting: Eligible candidates will be called for interviews. The list of shortlisted candidates will be published on the official District Court website on 23 November 2026.
• Interview: Interviews will be conducted on 26 November 2026 and 27 November 2026.
• Approval: The final selection list will be forwarded to the Hon'ble Gujarat High Court for final consideration and approval.

• Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth

• Copy of previous Family Court Counsellor appointment order (if applicable)
• Advocate Enrolment Certificate (if enrolled as an Advocate)
• Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)
• Self-signed application form and declaration with date and place
• Applications submitted after 19 November 2026, 06:10 PM, or not in the prescribed format, will not be taken into consideration.
