Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Technician (Skilled): Matriculation (10th) from a recognised board. ITI pass certificate in the specified trade (or equivalent Defence Services Tradesman Course). One year experience in the specified trade. Must qualify the departmental Trade Skill Test.
  • Technician (Semi Skilled): ITI pass certificate in the specified trade (or equivalent Defence Services Tradesman Course). Must qualify the departmental Trade Skill Test.
  • Age Limit: Minimum 18 years. Maximum varies by category (see table).
  • Nationality: Indian nationals only.
  • Medical Fitness: Candidates must be free from night blindness or colour blindness.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Written Test (objective type, 100 marks, no negative marking).
  • Trade Test (practical) for shortlisted candidates.
  • Document verification, medical examination, and character & antecedents verification.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test or trade test.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth
  • All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (Relevant Qualifications)
  • Experience Certificates on Official Letterhead (if applicable)
  • Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable)
  • Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)
