Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Post: Crop Guard
  • Educational Qualification: Matric / Secondary (10th) passed from a recognised educational institution.
  • Training: Mandatory minimum 5 days training from Agriculture and Horticulture Directorate under the Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Co-operative.
  • Language: Knowledge of local language.
  • Skills: Proficiency in cycling and tree climbing.
  • Residency: Must be a resident of the block related to the Plant Protection Centre.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Selection will be based on scrutiny of offline applications received by Speed Post or Registered Post within the stipulated period, followed by document verification. Candidates must ensure applications reach the Office of the Junior Plant Protection Officer, Combined Agriculture Building, Xavier Nagar, West Singhbhum, Chaibasa by 30 October 2026 up to 5:00 PM. No written test is specified in the notification. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in any selection process or document verification.
